At dawn on Wednesday 19, criminals blew up three banks in the Atibaia municipality and exchanged shots against the prime minister.
The criminals were armed with rifles and machine guns. They invaded a bank located in Plaza Aprígio de Toledo around 3 am and exploded inside to carry out the robbery, according to the police. Then the criminals invaded and blew up two other banks, one in the same place and the other in an adjacent street.
The criminals managed to escape after the exchange of gunfire and are wanted by the police. A car allegedly used by the suspects was abandoned on the spot.
On Wednesday morning, the area where the banks are located was isolated and the Special Tactical Action Group (Gate) was fired, the criminals having left explosives on the scene after the # 39; action. Technical teams also operated on the site. Nobody was arrested before 19:15.
