A few years ago, we attended the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, one of the first handsets of the brand with two cameras at the back. New information indicates that his successor, which would have been canceled, must finally see the light of day.
Earlier this month, we saw Xiaomi's president, Lin Bin, share an image showing a business phone with a 48-megapixel camera, which should be officially manufactured in January 2019. While the first rumors were doing Mi 9, the last ones said that it would act from a Redmi line, with the Snapdragon 675 processor.
Now, some revealed teasers indicate that this should to be the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, which is expected to have Snapdragon 675, a 11-nm chip with eight 2.0 GHz maximum clock cores, with an Adreno 612 graphics processor, with support for capturing 39 images up to 48 megapixels.
The appearance of these images, coupled with the rumors and information provided by Bin, indicates that the Redmi Pro 2 should even be the camera with the 48-megapixel rear camera, with such a Qualcomm chipset. Unfortunately, no other specification has been revealed to date.
In 2016, the first generation was presented as the first smartphone in the Redmi range with dual rear camera. However, the Chinese giant has not released a successor model in 2017. It is now preparing to unveil Xiaomi Play with a screen-shaped screen and aimed at young audiences on December 24. Only then will we be able to see more of Redmi Pro 2.
