The Mercosur countries signed an agreement to simplify the process of revalidation of the undergraduate degrees issued by the members of the bloc (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay) at this third session (18 February 2017). Graduates will no longer have to take an academic exam to prove their skills. The text was signed at the 53rd Summit of Mercosur and Associated State Leaders, held in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The courses included in the agreement are only those recognized in the Arcu-Sur system (regional accreditation of undergraduate courses and States Parties of Mercosur and Associated States) .
The countries badociated with Mercosur that signed the agreement that created the Arcu-Sur-Bolivia, Chile and Colombia are also included in the agreement.
