According to the Eurogamer website, the latest NPD Group survey revealed that 8.7 million units had been sold between the launch of the Nintendo console game in March 2017 and November 2018.

This same research revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 was the best-selling game in the United States in November, leaving behind Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – who took first place last month.
The best-selling console of the month, in dollar sales, was the Nintendo Switch. The PS4 continues to be the best seller of the year to date. It should be noted that, for the first time in history, three consoles exceeded the million units sold in November – more than 1.3 million were sold on PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
