The Public Prosecutor accuses the future minister of altering the maps of the management plan of the Várzea River environmental protection zone on the Tietê River for the benefit of the economic sectors during the period when he held the post of Secretary of the Environment of São Paulo. in the Geraldo Alckmin government, between 2016 and August 2017.
MP claims that the future minister sought to benefit the economic sectors, "including the mines", and some companies related to the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp), also condemned in this action.
In addition to the loss of his political rights, the judge ruled that Salles should pay a fine equal to ten times the monthly salary of a secretary.
