In 2015, a Microsoft Mobile device, codenamed RM-1182, was certified in Indonesia. The device was a Windows Phone that looked at the entry area and had very limited resources. The difference was even in the user interface based on the operating system of the giant Redmond.
The secret phone appeared for the first time thanks to Windows Central and was developed to be the first to carry the Microsoft brand (not Nokia) – was usually badigned to Lumia devices – and borrowed the design of the Lumia 550 and 950. The RM-1182 came with Live Tiles, which could be rearranged and had different colors; a notification center, integration with the Microsoft account and synchronization of contacts, calendar, email; among other features.
The built-in applications bring Outlook, GroupMe and OneNote as phone, SMS, contact list, photos, camera, alarms, file explorer, email and calendar. There was also a browser that appeared to be a version of Opera Mini. Even modest, it included games such as Ultimate Spider-Man, Asphalt and others.
In terms of specifications, the screen was 2.5 inches and a 1.92 MP camera plus a 1200 mAh battery. Like many other Windows phones, the phone had been canceled before its launch in 2016.
