In the wake of patent lawsuits, Samsung is gearing up for 2019 with six different recordings for Notch models on smartphone screens. The new formats only have circular or semi-circular cutouts at the top of the screens to include a front camera.
It should be noted that these new protective tape formats differ from the screens already presented by Samsung, known as Infinity (O, U and V) by cutting formats. The format 1, however, is very similar to Infinity U.
We can therefore imagine that these reductions are for non-Infinity screens, have no such edges on the sides. So we can expect the Korean to use these new options on entry-level smartphones, such as some of the new phones in the Galaxy M family, that it should have high-end middlemen on entry phones .
Even with these patents, we still have no idea when and how Samsung can implement these new nick or slot formats. It may even be that the company never takes these ideas on paper, which is the case for most patents filed by major global companies.
