Cornelio Procópio: A director dies after being assaulted on campus

A warning to a professor allegedly caused the death of the campus director of Cornelio Procópio of the Northern State University of Paraná (UENP), Sérgio Roberto Ferreira, on the night of Thursday (20) . The crime was committed in the institution. According to the police, Laurindo Panucci Filho, a prisoner inside São Paulo, reportedly confessed his badault with a hatchet.

The 60-year-old director, who had been working at the university since 1990 and was on his second term as a campus director, was found by staff in his courtroom with several injuries and was eventually sent back to G1.
