A warning to a professor allegedly caused the death of the campus director of Cornelio Procópio of the Northern State University of Paraná (UENP), Sérgio Roberto Ferreira, on the night of Thursday (20) . The crime was committed in the institution. According to the police, Laurindo Panucci Filho, a prisoner inside São Paulo, reportedly confessed his badault with a hatchet.
The 60-year-old director, who had been working at the university since 1990 and was on his second term as a campus director, was found by staff in his courtroom with several injuries and was eventually sent back to G1. Santa Casa, but ended up not resisting. The blows against him hit the skull, neck, abdomen and knee. According to investigations, Sérgio has already left the campus and would have returned after receiving a call from the teacher asking for an appointment.
