LineageOS, the successor to CyanogenMod, appeared in 2016 and, in February 2018, LineageOS 15.1 was released, followed by an update with more news. At the time, this version was available for several devices, but some had been left out.

Recently, the makers of this project have made available LineageOS 15.1, based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Find out if your Android supports this version.

The LineageOS project is currently used in more than 2 million devices worldwide and has more than 700 employees. The project team launched LineageOS 15.1 in February, but the list of devices supporting this release has been extended.

What's New in LineageOS 15.1

The new features built into LineageOS 15.1 are so many. In addition to a higher level of customization, new features are also available at the launcher level and the camera app already supports reading QR codes.
