A suicide car bomb attack, followed by an armed attack, left at least 25 people dead Monday in a government complex, an official spokesman said.
Twenty others were injured in the raid that lasted several hours and killed four suspects, said Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish.
This attack comes after a hectic week for Afghanistan, after the announcement did not officially confirm the immediate withdrawal of 7,000 of the 14,000 US troops present in the country.
Several perpetrators of the attack entered the complex housing the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, said Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman of the Ministry of the Interior.

Afghan forces killed three suspects and released more than 300 people arrested on the scene, Rahimi said. A fourth suicide bomber died in the car bomb explosion.
