Christmas night was a relief for a Pbados family south of Minas. His son Eduardo, 35, has reappeared after three days lost in the mountains. He was with five people, who were killed in a waterfall.

The day was long, telling everyone how you survived. The shopkeeper Eduardo Gomes Morais pbaded by the doctor, took a shower, ate and, next to his father, said that the last three days lost in the Serra da Canastra, south of Minas, had disappeared. "Only the first day I ate two baurus, the other days it was only water," Eduardo says.

On Saturday (22), Eduardo and five other people were in a waterfall at São João Batista do Glória, when they were surprised by a storm. He even tried to save a friend: "I saw that it was weighing, water to push me, I held the stone, I held my hand and my hair and slipped on it. "

The body of Pollyana Diniz, 26, was found one kilometer and a half from the waterfall. The four other victims were between 23 and 32 years old: Mariana Horta de Melo, Maurilio Pádua Silveira, Alexsandro Antônio Pereira de Souza and Gustavo Ferreira.

They did a booster at the waterfall. Eduardo saw the helicopter used in the rescue operation: "I was shaking my hand, I was screaming."

The military used the helicopter for two days. They traveled several times through the stretch of the waterfall, where young men hit to the point where the creek was shallow. Even so, none of them has seen Eduardo.

"We continue the search, but we do not see anyone," said the captain of the fire department, João Paulo Pessoa Veloso de Almeida.

Eduardo said that to leave the waterfall, he had to climb the rocks, but he ended up getting lost: "I was no longer cold in the head, I could not reason, I got lost right there."

After two days of walking in the woods, he is helped by an acquaintance who brings him home. "It's a gift from God, he's relived," says Francisco Morais, Eduardo's father.
