This technique was used for the famous technical support. Victims see their computer frozen and a warning that the machine has been infected with a virus. The sites that exploited this flaw use a JavaScript code that creates a loop in what is simply impossible to close the pane or the browser. As the action is executed in an infinite sequence, the use of the PC's processing capacity will reach 100%, which means that the machine can stop completely.
However, the blow, as is already common, should only have an effect with lay people with little technical knowledge. Indeed, even if it is not possible to close the browser by clbadic routes (by clicking on the "X" button), you can still use the famous Ctrl + Alt + Del to access the Windows Task Manager and leave Chrome while the PC is still responding. . Another solution is simply to restart the computer and not to go back to the site you were accessing when the computer crashed.
