As such, Iris undertakes to complete the work but plans to deviate the areas originally planned to receive the corridor. The first step, according to him, is to paralyze Goiás Avenue up to Civic Square.
"I understood that putting cement in Goiás Avenue, it is violating the backbone of the body of Our Lady," he explained. The mayor also said that he was talking with Caixa Economica to make the measure viable.
In addition, Iris stated that he felt it was useless to connect Aparecida de Goiânia to the northern part of the capital because he did not think anyone was doing it. "So we will only end up at the bus station," he said
. The mayor also badured that he would make a second trip between the Isidória terminal and the Cruzeiro terminal in Aparecida, despite the cancellation of work in downtown Goiânia. . "There is a gift from the federal government and there is none," he said. This part of the work should be finalized in 2020.
