Voted as the worst smartphone of the year by our constituents, the Motorola One has stood out this year among Motorola launches, since it's the first-ever to Brazil under the program Android One.
Android One guarantees two years of updates and Android security packages, as well as an extra year with only monthly fixes. In the case of Motorola One, it was unveiled with Android 8.1 Oreo, received the Android 9.0 Pie and will have access to Android 10.0 Q in 2019, while the year 2020 will be exclusive security packages.
These security patches are generated throughout the month and usually arrive on all Android One devices, while some brands prefer to offer an update every three months, as the case of Samsung on some of their devices, for example.
The smartphone is now receiving an update that includes the December security patch released by system developers earlier this month.
The update is now available to all device users and should soon reach the majority of users. If your smartphone has not yet received the update, you can wait for the arrival of the notification by notifying you of the update or trying to find it via the device configuration menu.
