An accident between a bus and a pbadenger car killed two children and three adults this morning (29). The frontal collision occurred when the vehicle attempted to overtake, at km 17 of BR-020, near Formosa, towards Bahia. The accident occurred around 6:30 am.
The five pbadengers in the car, a gray Fiat / Pallio, died instantly. There were three men aged 29, 49 and 44 and two children: a 9-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. The names of the victims were not revealed
Dr. Karolyne Gomes, who performed the service of Samu, declared More Goiás that when the team arrived on the scene only the girl was alive.
According to the fire department, after the frontal crash, both vehicles crawled for about 40 meters. They would still be down. According to information communicated to More Goiás the family would be from Mato Grosso do Sul and might have left the trip to Goiania.
The bodies of the victims were stuck to the equipment because the car was under the bus. The 42-year-old bus driver suffered a bruise on his leg. He did not want to leave the scene of the accident and did not need to be hospitalized because of the severity of the injuries. The service was carried out by teams from the Samu Fire Department, the Formosa Medical Legal Institute (IML) in Formosa and the Federal Highway Police (19659006).
