Barranco collapses and kills a 57-year-old woman in northeastern Brazil

A 57-year-old woman was buried Saturday (29) after the collapse of a ravine in the Paul VI Joint neighborhood located in the northeast of Belo Horizonte . A son of the victim, a 40-year-old man, managed to escape by jumping out the window of the house where they were. Two other neighbors suffered minor injuries and were rescued by an ambulance from SAMU

According to the fire department, a mother and son were talking in the kitchen of the residence when the ravine collapsed and debris hit the woman. Popular people tried to save her, but they did not succeed.

Similar incident

In the neighborhood of Novo Lajedo, firefighters attended a similar incident, also on Saturday. A ravine sank and hit a house. At first, it was suspected that there were people buried.
