Surprisingly and without official announcement, Samsung has officially released the update for Android 9.0 Pie for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus in some European countries.
And before the update reaches more countries, the South Korean giant has updated the device's user manual with references to Android Pie. The file is available in English, Dutch, and German, and it is likely to see it also in other languages because users in other countries receive the update.
There is no big news in the manuals for use. The file talks about the new features of the Samsung user interface, the user interface One, generically. However, information on how to insert the SIM card, identical in all versions of Android, are present.
If Samsung follows the script provided by its division in Turkey, Galaxy Note 9 is expected to receive the Android pie until January 15, while the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus models will be put upgrade one month later, although these terms are subject to change, as has happened several times in important system updates for Sammy devices.
The update for Android Pie, although celebrated by several users, would have failed on the battery of some devices.
According to reports, the charge level of some handsets would have dropped dramatically without any apparent explanation, such as an application running in the background. For example,
A Sammobile reporter reported that the battery dropped from 10% to 5% within seconds without the system indicating any apparent reason.
