In Copacabana, New Year's Eve lasted 14 minutes with fireworks and a party with the rights of Ludmilla, Gilberto Gil and Baby do Brasil. According to city estimates, 2.8 million people attended the arrival of New Year's Beach.

At midnight, 17 tons of multicolored fires were launched in the Copacabana sky from 10 floating rafts. The show, accompanied by music, moved Cariocas and the tourists who were on the beach. The bombs formed images 200 meters high, with geometric figures and 3D effects.
Christ the Redeemer received digital projections containing words such as love and hope during the fire in Copacabana. The archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro took the initiative to pay tribute to this wonderful city.
