The governor of Rio Grande do Norte, Fatima Bezerra (PT), announced Wednesday that she would declare the financial calamity of the state during her first action at the head of the administration. The information was revealed during a morning meeting with members of the new government, heads of state and unions representing the servers. The measure must be approved by the Legislative Assembly.

In addition to the financial calamity, the Governor baderted that she would also issue Orders in Council establishing a reconsideration of executive costing expenditures; establish the management and effectiveness committee; to determine the return of civil and military officials to their organs of origin; and what sets an exceptional period in the public service record.

The decrees will be published later this Wednesday (2) in an extraordinary edition of the Official Journal of Rio Grande do Norte.

"These are the first steps we will take, adding that they are part of the state's tax recovery plan that will contain other measures that will be announced soon," said the governor.

Normally, as a result of public financial decrees, states may violate the debt and staffing limits imposed by the Fiscal Responsibility Act and prioritize resources in areas such as health, education, social badistance and payment of servers. active, inactive and retired.
