Three girls aged 11 to 12 are missing after leaving a letter stating that they are facing a "challenge" in Maringá.
11-year-old Evelyn slept with 12-year-old Luana and 11-year-old Yasmin, and the three men disappeared on Wednesday morning.
According to the girls' parents, they left a letter stating that they would be away for a week to take up a challenge.
The mother of two of them went to buy food and, when she returned, she did not find the children again.
"Their younger brother said goodbye and left home," said Osvaldo dos Santos, Evelyn's father.
The security cameras of the condominium where they were shown show the girls leaving the scene. The three wore backpacks.
"They've never done that, it's hopeless," said Cleonice Marques, Evelyn and Luana's mother.
According to her, the girls remained until the previous night by touching the cell phone, which forced her to attract the attention of the girls.
The civilian police investigate the case.
