Latam Airlines Group and Azul are among the world's most punctual airlines in 2019, according to a ranking prepared by the British consulting firm OAG. The list considers the companies that recorded the highest percentage of flights without delay in 2018.
Panama's Copa Airlines had the highest punctuality index in the world, with 89.79% of scheduled departure flights. The company has eliminated the airbaltic of the head for three consecutive years.
The Latam group – formed by the union of the Brazilian TAM and the Chilean LAN – took a leap in the rankings, moving from 36th place in 2017 to seventh place last year, with 85.6% of cash flights.
In eighth position, figure the Brazilian Azul antenna, with a punctuality index of 85.21%.
Among the Latin American companies, Avianca ranks fifth with 85.21% of flights, while Gol ranks ninth with a rate of 79.70% of flights without delay.
