Swedish health authorities isolated a patient Friday (4) at the hospital in Uppsala, near Stockholm, with a possible contagion of Ebola.
Initially, the patient had gone to the emergency of a hospital in Enköping, but had been transferred to the capital, where he will remain isolated, according to Uppsala authorities.
In Enköping, the emergency room was closed to the public as a precautionary measure. Employees who attended the patient receive medical care.
"We will probably have the results of the exams again tonight," he said in an official statement.
In statements at the local news portal "unt.se" The chief medical officer of Uppsala, Mikael Köhler, explained that the patient had come to the hospital because he was vomiting blood, one of the symptoms of Ebola.
