Maia came to Goiania to express the support of the federal deputies at the Caiado base in her run for re-election in power.

The current mayor has also received the support of PSL Bolsonaro who stopped supporting João Campos (PRB). Goiano, who was among the favorites of the post, withdrew his candidacy and declared his support to Rodrigo Maia.
