The Cuban government released on Saturday (5) the final draft of the new constitution of the country, which can be consulted by the population before the referendum scheduled for 24 February.
The text is published two weeks after having been unanimously approved by Parliament to update the Cuban Constitution in force since 1976.

The digital version of the new magna is available on official government websites, such as the Cubadebate portal and the state newspaper "Granma".
The document will also be sold in physical form, as was the case with the first project, which had been discussed during the popular consultation process before being considered by Parliament.
It will have a tabloid format and 16 pages and will be sold by the national postal network against a Cuban peso (about five hundred), according to the government.

Contrary to the first version, the text no longer provides for the legalization of same-bad marriage.
Parliament has decided to organize another referendum to approve the family code.This text will therefore determine whether Cuba will extend civil marriage to homobaduals.The stable union, however, is guaranteed.
