Acer Announces Chromebook with AMD Processor and More Laptops for Players

Acer presented Tuesday 8 at CES 2019 one of the world's largest technology conferences held in Las Vegas this week. Acer Chromebook 315 is a laptop with Chrome OS, the operating system for computers manufactured by Google and focused on web applications. The device is one of the first in the world in the category of Chromebooks to integrate AMD processors, rather than Intel, ARM or Exynos (Samsung).

The notebook is equipped with 7-generation AMD A Series processors: A6-9220C or A4-9120C, depending on customer choice and availability by country. The Chromebook 315 also comes with the Radeon R4 integrated graphics, also from AMD.

The product is the result of a partnership between Acer, AMD and Google, which develops Chrome OS. In addition, it offers up to 8GB of RAM, 32GB of eMMC storage and an IPS LCD screen for a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) of 15.6-inch touch.

It is not planned to launch the Acer Acer's Chromebook 315. in Brazil. In the United States, it begins to be sold in February for $ 279.

The Acer Swift 7 is the newest version of the brand's high-end notebook, which was also featured at CES 2019. The device stands out by its screen occupying 92% of the frame, which leaves little room for very thin edges.
