But the first thing to do is to respect the staff.
The idea is to end EBC?
The idea is not to finish. The idea is to make the most of the structure, but to rationalize it to make it more up to date, more agile, without ideology, in order to see what principles it will disseminate. You can not, have no interest in competing with traditional media. She can have no idea of the competition, but only to complete.
The military wing of the new government has talked a lot about bullshit and it is urgent to organize the communication. But I'm afraid it's not just a communication problem. I fear that the temptation to have a TV channel like hers has appeared at the head of the army and politicians, with the support of the "right-wing Jacobins", of those who think the "war" culture "is worth it, including using the same socialist media enemies.
This is unacceptable, however. Keeping EBC "reacting to leftism", as some of these reactionary defenders will argue, is simply absurd, it is sacrificing principles for "noble ends," as does the Left.
The left returns to power and will be able to call his television. It's the same risk of holding public banks even under the command of decent liberals. The instrument of power is still intact. The only solution is to put an end to this shit, in the case of "TV trace", and to privatize the other state.
But the military apparently prefers to use the state apparatus for its "reaction" against leftism. an emphasis that will have on the Liberals fierce opposition. We can not accept the distortion of republican means, even for the noble purpose of repairing the wrongs caused by the "progressives". It's even worse to justify this desire to see the TV itself worrying the employees!
Vera Magalhães of Young Pan attacked: "After all, who does not want a TV call theirs, is not it?" Mario Sabino, of The Antagonist, had already received the campaign promise: "I'm still waiting for the extinction of TV Brasil". A valorizing liberal condemns the existence of TV Brazil and not the fact that its use is for or against the left. It's something that the Jacobins can not understand.
Former President Temer had also promised to close the state, but nothing happened except superficial changes. "TV Trace" consumes billions of dollars and has no audience. He serves as a mamata for "friends of the king", militants disguised as journalists, as was the case of Franklin Martins. Doing the same thing "on the other side" is immoral and indecent, and no serious liberal will tolerate it.
I hope that President Bolsonaro will consider this issue and opt for the immediate closure of EBC. There is no reasonable excuse for keeping the section alive …
