Chinese President Xi Jinping has accepted the invitation of the North Korean leader to visit his country, according to the North Korean official KCNA news agency. Date not yet defined.

This invitation was made by Kim on Tuesday while he was in Beijing. This will be the first visit of a Chinese president to North Korea since the current leader's takeover of power after the death of his father, Kim Jong-il, in 2011.

Kim's trip in China this week was not announced in advance. This is the fourth time the North Korean leader has been in the country since last March, when he first met Xi.
