NEW YORK – MacKenzie Bezos' divorce with Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos, might well make her the richest woman in the world.

Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, granddaughter of the founder of cosmetics manufacturer L 'Oréal is the richest woman in the world with a net worth of 45.6 billion dollars, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a ranking of 500 richest people in the world.
