Volkswagen unveiled on Monday (14) the new Pbadat 2020 for the US market at the Detroit Motor Show. Unlike the European (which is also sold in Brazil), the model has acquired an entirely new body and interior, while retaining the same PQ46 platform used in the seventh generation German Pbadat.
The new Pbadat of the United States debuts with a very visual body (19459013) (read here ), as can be seen in the grille, in the design of the taillights and in the details as for the rounded outline of the window in column "C".
Inside, the panel was more like the one used in the European Pbadat, but it still had the dashboard and controls typical of the 2000s Volkswagen.
The mechanics of the 2020 Pbadat least modified. In addition to maintaining the platform of the previous generation, the sedan continues to be offered only with the 2.0 TSI engine of 176 hp and a six-speed automatic transmission.
