A week after being sacked by Justice Minister Sérgio Moro, Funai's territorial protection director continues to function normally. Its exemption has not yet been published in the Official Journal.
The servant Azelene Inácio is Funai's director of territorial protection. On Tuesday (8), the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Sergio Moro, forwarded Azelene's request for removal to the Civil House. The reason: a prosecution investigation that revealed a conflict of interest in the post.
Information on the "conflict of interest and behavior inconsistent with administrative morality" in the appointment of Azelene consists of an official letter sent by the Civil House to the Ministry of Justice in November, during the transitional government. The investigation is not over yet and so there is no details about the case.
Funai, under the Bolsonaro government, was transferred from the Ministry of Justice to women, family and human rights, occupied by Damares Alves, who would be exonerated by Azelene.
According to the opinion of Sérgio Moro, the Funai transfer did not take place, the exemption was granted by Moro but was not published in the Official Journal of the # 39; Union.

This is the second episode in less than a week, characterized by a resignation movement of the Bolsonaro government.

But, as in the case of Azelene Inacio, Carreiro said that he would not go out, facing the minister. After wear and the negative repercussions of the case, however, the former president of Apex was sacked by President Jair Bolsonaro.
