The year 2015 is over and few technologies presented in Back to the Future 2 have materialized. One of the things presented in the film and that reality has tried to confirm, however, are the shoes that do not fit the feet of users, who have just won a new version presented Wednesday, 16, by Nike
The model in question is the Adapt BB, which is the new generation of HyperAdapt 1.0, launched in 2016. Nike has promoted the new shoe designed for basketball practice and even ended up using the NBA's stars as Adapt BB has a built-in battery that needs to be recharged from time to time.
The user can control the fit of the shoe to his foot by means of a mobile application, but also with the help of buttons located on the side of the shoe, which allow to loosen or tighten the sneakers. The room also has LED indicators to indicate the battery level.
The price, however, is not yet user-friendly. The Adapt BB course has been halved compared to the previous generation, but it remains expensive, with a suggested price of $ 350, which equals $ 1,300.
At this price, it is hard to imagine that the product will sell many units, but it is worth noting that the value is falling. Can technology evolve to become sufficiently accessible to make traditional laces a thing of the past? Wait to see.
