A survey conducted by PageGroup, a specialized recruitment firm, shows that 51% of the positions evaluated had exceeded inflation the previous year.
Replacement or maintenance cases accounted for 35% of the positions and 14% of them experienced a fall. Of the 513 positions badyzed, those with the largest increases in compensation were Business Partners (HR) at 40%; Expansion Analyst (Health and Life Sciences), 40%; and Director of Operations (Supply Chain & Operations), 35% (see list below) .
- In order to prepare for the study, PageGroup consulted 6,000 professionals from all over Brazil, between January and October of last year. The executives interviewed occupy positions ranging from senior management positions (Personnel page) to senior and middle managers (Michael Page).
The company generated from this consultation the monthly remuneration of 513 positions in 14 sectors (engineering and manufacturing, supply chain and operations, retail, sales, marketing and digital, information technology, legal, health and life sciences, finance). And taxation, insurance, banking and financial services, human resources, real estate and construction, secretarial and business support).
The sectors with the highest percentage increase are human resources (77% of positions) and banks and financial services (75%).
The sectors with the largest decline in wages were real estate and construction (45% of jobs) and insurance (40%).
