A 34-year-old woman, also hospitalized in Pariquera-Açu, was confirmed by the disease according to tests but was released Wednesday (16).

In the face of deaths and confirmed cases of patients, the Municipal Department of Health and Epidemiological Surveillance of Eldorado asks all unvaccinated residents to go to the nearest clinic to receive the vaccine against yellow fever , which must be provided ten days before the trip or the outward journey to the danger zones.
Vaccine doses are available in health facilities and are indicated for persons 9 months of age and older. Patients with HIV-positive and transplanted women, pregnant women, badfeeding women up to six months of age and immunocompromised individuals such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy or high-dose corticosteroid patients such as Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis should consult their doctor for indication of the vaccine.
Since Monday (14), the Ministry of Health has taken steps to intensify vaccination and orientation of residents, especially in rural areas, requiring in some cases to be conducted at home .
