"We watched some (tiger sharks) and then appeared and all the other sharks dispersed and she started climbing the boat," recalls Ocean Ramsey diver in an interview with Honolulu Star Adviser.
"It was just that gigantic, delicate beauty that wanted to use our boat as a perch to scrape" who swam with the shark all day, getting some great shots. "We arrived at dawn and she stayed with us most of the day."
Ramsey revealed that the female, aged about 50 years and weighing 2.5 tons, was "of an impressive size", probably pregnant.
"Deep Blue", which has its own account on Twitter and was the subject of a documentary a few years ago, was seen on the island of Guadalupe, Mexico .
