A fire broke out at the Heart Institute (Incor) of the neighborhood of Cerqueira Caesar, near Avenida Paulista, this Friday morning (18). The smoke could be seen in the distance. From the tall buildings surrounding the institute, it was possible to identify flames in the building's refrigeration equipment.
At 11:15, the fire was under control. According to the fire department, no injuries were reported. Part of the building has been evacuated, but patients are not obliged to leave, the company said.

The Incor press office reported that the fire was declared outside the hospital, in a refrigeration pipeline, and was not reported.
