The father of gymnast Jackelyne da Silva, who died last Wednesday (16 years old) at the age of 17, recorded a report in the 32nd police district of São Paulo following the death of her daughter. The decision regarding the official cause of Jackelyne's death is not yet ready. The deadline set by the authorities is 30 days maximum.

After recording the report of the event, the São Paulo Civil Police opened an investigation to investigate the circumstances of the gymnast's death. In a note sent to the report, the São Paulo Public Security Department reported that the police had summoned witnesses.
