During the cruising season of 2019, which runs until April, 11 ships are expected to land in the port of Recife. This Saturday 19 was the turn of the Crystal Symphony, which left Guyana and transported about 800 people to the pbadenger terminal located in the central area of the capital, Pernambuco.
"We started the cruising season to greet tourists with a lot of fun as they land here to spend money, create jobs and move our economy and trade," said the secretary. Tourism and Recreation, Rodrigo Novaes.
Two more ships from Spain and the Bahamas are scheduled to land on Monday at the port of Recife (21). "We have organized a party with caboclinhos, lança caboclos, canopies and other characters so that these tourists are curious to revisit our state," explains Novaes.
