Brazil and Europe will be interconnected by a new underwater fiber optic cable with a capacity of 40 terabytes (TB) per second, which will facilitate voice and image communications between different points of the Brazilian territory and the European continent. .
The information comes from the Minister-Adviser for the Digital Market Representation of the European Union in Brazil, Carlos Oliveira. According to him, the European Union has already released $ 30 million to launch the project.
