WEST AND SOUTHWEST

The Secretariat has already taken action on the Cascavel area, where the meningococcal C vaccine is lacking: at the end of this week, the western health departments and part of the southwest will receive the doses. For Cascavel, for example, 2,880 doses of meningococcus C will be delivered, enough to meet the current demand. At the same time as this batch, 2,000 doses of DTP vaccine (against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis) will be sent.
