Last Sunday (20), Charlie Brown Jr. impressed to announce his return on stage at a free concert.
The repercussion was overwhelmingly negative, many fans claiming it was a maneuver to enjoy the memory of Chorão and Mushroom vocalist and bbadist of the group were in 2013.
Adding to the controversy, the guitarist Thiago Castanho confirmed in his presentation that he denied his participation in the act and even claimed: "There is no Charlie Brown Jr. without Chorão ".
At present, members of the group and the singer's son, Alexandre Abrão used the group's instagram to clarify the story in a video.
Alexander explains that the project is in the plans since 2014 – a year after the death of the musicians – and that it is a tribute to the father and that the legacy of Charlie Brown Jr. Abram also delivers a surprise of the presentation, declaring: that Chorão "will be present" on the series through the big screen, singing with the group.
The singer's son also notes that the event is totally free and invites fans of Charlie Brown who wish to remember the band's career.
It should be remembered that, besides the show that will take place on January 25 (25) in São Paulo, in the Anhangabaú Valley, other presentations are expected to take place this year in Brazil.
