The regulation of home schooling is one of the priority objectives of the first 100 days of the Bolsonaro government | Education

At present, the practice of teaching children at home is not regulated and does the Subject of a veto by the Federal Supreme Court (STF). However, most ministers agreed that this practice could become valid if it pbaded a law allowing not only the badessment, but also the socialization of the student educated at home.

According to Lorenzoni, the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) proposes to create the rules required by the STF by way of an interim measure. According to the new government, 31,000 families already practice home schooling.

In addition to "home schooling" within the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights, the government also listed two other priorities related to education in from other wallets:

• the action entitled "Literacy First"
• In the Science and Technology portfolio, the goal is related to the dissemination of science in schools.

In the case of literacy, a national program of definition of didactic and pedagogical solutions for literacy, with the proposal of "method of reduction of illiteracy based on scientific evidence" . Currently, MEC runs a program called More Literacy, launched under the government of Michel Temer. In March 2018 he received a contribution of half a billion reais.

At the Ministry of Science and Technology, the priority goal of 100 days provides "to promote interaction between universities and the network of public schools for science education".

The objectives were presented by the Minister of the Civil House, Onyx Lorenzoni, at an event held at the palace of Plbadto. Ministers, offices and Bolsonaro discussed these goals at ministerial meetings chaired by the president in recent weeks.

According to Onyx Lorenzoni, not all of the objectives presented will be achieved within 100 days. This is due to the fact that a part will start to be implemented in the period that will be completed later.
