Two bodies are found in Itaboraí and police investigate murders in the metropolitan area

RIO – Two bodies were found Tuesday in the Areal district of Itaboraí, in the Rio Metropolitan Area. According to the civilian police, the case in principle has no connection with the series of attacks that took place earlier in the week in this municipality and São Gonçalo. However, the agency indicated that the possibility would be investigated

The case is settled by the homicide bureau of Niterói, São Gonçalo and Itaboraí. Both bodies were referred to the IML, police said. Their identifications have not been revealed.

Civilian police did not indicate whether there were traces of shots on the bodies found. According to preliminary information provided by the military police, the bodies, both men, were in the process of decomposition when the teams arrived on the scene.

The road taken by the murderers of nine people during the mbadacre that took place between the cities of Itaboraí and São Gonçalo, last Sunday, was about 18 kilometers. The criminals traveled about 13 kilometers between the Ampliación and Granja Cabuçu neighborhoods in Itaboraí after making their first victim, Pablo Damasceno dos Esteves, 26 years old. Vanderson dos Santos Silva, 18, was executed in Granja one hour after the first crime

. The other seven victims were killed in the Marambaia district, about 5 km from Granja Cabuçu. The executioners murdered three people in front of a fast food trailer: Hercules de Souza Costa, 21, who worked as an attendant; Michael Douglas da Silva Machado, 25 years old; and Allan Patrick Pinto Vicente, 21 years old. Débora Rodrigue, 46, owner of the bar, was later taken away by bandits before being murdered

. São Gonçalo and killed Gabriel Trigueiro de Oliveira, 19, Renan Trigueiro de Almeida, 20; and Rodrigo Avelino Braga, 38 years old. Gabriel and Renan are cousins. Rodrigo, who was on vacation at the scene, is the boys' uncle. Gabriel left an 8 month old son and Rodrigo, one of 1 year and 4 months old. All family members said the three had no connection to the traffic.
