Complaints about the electricity bill have increased in Procon units in the area. In Itajaí, at least 15 preliminary investigations were opened to determine the sudden increase in the cost of electricity. Raphael Fonseca, director of Procon in Itajaí, states that "except where there was a misreading, the problem is in the cost of electricity.
– We opened preliminary investigation letters and Celesc showed an increase in kW / h. The bill is reversed, the more it spends, the more it is expensive – he explains.
Children on vacation, increased consumption of shower and air conditioning are among the explanations for a higher bill than usual. Feeling hurt should look for Procon. But people should also stick to the increase in consumption, look at the light clock and see if the reading is correct – Fonseca recommends.
