The US government refused the travel visa to Mexican actor Jorge Antonio Guerrero, who plays the character Fermín in the feature film "Roma" and intends to attend the Oscars ceremony on February 24, said the actor at the Efe agency on Thursday.
Guerrero explained that he still did not know if he would be able to attend the event, in which "Rome" is indicated in ten categories.
As expected by the magazine "Who", the US immigration authorities refused the visa to Guerrero while the actor had been invited by Netflix, producer of "Roma".
Actor, officials of the US Embbady in Mexico did not want to read the letter and were denied travel authorization after the personal regulatory meeting.
This is not the first time that Guerrero has trouble getting to the United States.
