Honda announced this week that the new generation of PCX would cost $ 11,620. The scooter will be sold in three versions: Standart, Sport and DLX. The first will be the entry bike and will arrive equipped with a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear with combined system. Two colors will be available: blue and silver.
The Sport and DLX versions will have discs on both wheels, but the ABS system only on the front wheel, as well as Smart Key and differentiated colors and graphics, priced at R $ 12,990. The values represent an increase of 10 and 16%, respectively, compared to the old model.
Honda is betting on a new design for PCX, now featuring more angular lines, full LED lighting and a digital panel. Another change has occurred in the headquarters. The article was redesigned and the compartment under the bench was larger by one liter to reach a capacity of 28 liters.
The rear shock absorbers are now fixed in another position and have been hydraulically adjusted.
The engine is identical for all versions: 149.3cc, OHC (Over Head Camshaft), 4-stroke, PGM-FI electronic injection (fuel injection programmed), gasoline, liquid-cooled and automatic transmission continuously variable CVT. The maximum power is 13.2 hp at 8500 rpm and the maximum torque is 1.38 kgf at 5,000 rpm.
The new Honda PCX will be available at dealerships starting in February.
