BRASÍLIA – The National Water Agency (ANA) detected in the last three years a total of 54 Brazilian dams with infrastructure problems . This amount is equivalent to more than half of the 104 dams surveyed by the agency.

The report asked ANA about the total number of notifications, warnings and fines issued by the agency regarding problems related to the dam infrastructure.
