Vale will donate $ 100,000 to the families of the victims in Brumadinho

The mining company Vale announced Monday (28) measures to mitigate the effects of the rupture of a dam filled with waste from the extraction of iron in Brumadinho, in the state of Minas Gerais

. One of the measures announced by the Vale is a gift of 100,000 R $ for each family of deceased persons

The executive director of finance and investor relations of the company , Luciano Siano ] stated that the amount "has nothing to do with compensation .It is a gift that will be made immediately."

The executive has also stated that professionals from the Albert Einstein Hospital, of São Paulo would be hired for the psychological care of people affected by tragedy

Announcement of another measure was the installation of a curtain of containment on the river Paraopeba which was hit hard by the mud that flowed from the dam of the mine Córrego do Feijão.

The company also announced that it would retain the payment of taxes for Brumadinho .

"This is currently secondary action and we still need to find a solution that works for all parties involved," Luciano said.
