Grin and Yellow Join to Form Grow Mobility Inc.

Brazilian Yellow is a reference in fixed point bike rental

Urban mobility starters Grin and Yellow announced their merger on Wednesday ( 30) and the creation of Grow Mobility Inc. Grin is headquartered in Mexico and is the largest electric scooter sharing company in Latin America, while Yellow is the benchmark for fixed point bike rentals.

Together, they operate more than 135,000 vehicles in six countries (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay and Chile) and have 1, 1,000 employees. According to the release, Grow plans to double its supply of bicycles and scooters and increase coverage in Latin America in the coming months.

Grin co-founder Sergio Romo will be the CEO of the new company. The president will be Jonathan Lewy, also from Grin, while Ariel Lambrecht, one of the founders of Yellow, will badume the duties of Product Manager.
