The body of the journalist Ricardo Boechat is veiled since 22 hours Monday at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), in the district of Jardim Europa, São Paulo. The place will be open to the public. The journalist of Bandeirantes group died during the fall of a helicopter on the Anhanguera highway, on his return from a conference in Campinas. The wake follows until 2 pm on Tuesday. The band has not revealed the burial place, which will be held at a ceremony reserved for the family. The accident occurred early in the afternoon. The pilot of the plane, Ronaldo Quatrucci, also died.

Boechat was 66 years old, presenter of Jornal da Band and BandNews FM radio and had a weekly column in the magazine ISTOÉ. The journalist was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when his father, Dalton Boechat, a diplomat, was in the service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
