A young man died after drowning in a swimming pool at a Varginha (MG) club on Sunday (13). Claudinei José Norberto, 19, was saved but died at the hospital.
Drowning occurred at the beginning of the afternoon in one of the Varginha Tennis Club (VTC) pools. The firefighters were called and, on their arrival, met with people who were trying to revive the victim.
In the club, firefighters checked that Claudinei was devoid of vital signs. With the support of the Samu doctors, the resuscitation process was performed, which helped to recover the heart rate.
The young man was taken to Bom Pastor Hospital, but he did not resist and he died. The death was confirmed by the municipal funeral service. Before handing over to the funeral, the body must be taken to the Medical Legal Institute (MLI).
Regarding the production of EPTV, a subsidiary of Rede Globo the director of the VTC laments the death of the boy and announces that he was immediately rescued by the staff and service of the fires. Management also indicated that she was maintaining a team of first responders.
